k experiencing tis prob ...i had currently 2 bks nw ....1 say the 7 of swords means ppl r taking advantage of u ....while the other says escaping or running away frm something ..so wich is it? is thre other cards too tat hav diff. meanings with diff. ppl ?

Welll different authors will write about their personal experiences with the cards in which they use.
Such as a certain tarot reader encountered the situation whereby the 7 of swords would be a person backstabbing you, stealling stuff from you....in relations to a reading.

or whatever,,,, another author would write probably it refers to you having bad thoughts or having thoughts on theft.....

they are all correct in their own way..... but the way i use the cards is by key words.... 7 of swords will have the following ideas and concepts Futility, warnings of theft and incorrect thinking....

to each his own ..... but to know more ways to interpret a card is to your advantage....

to me 7 is a card of seeking answers.... a warnings for dangers ahead....

7 of wands is the card of valour

7 of cups is the card of disillusion....

7 of pentacles the card of failure thru inaction....

I like to think of each of the numbers meaning a certain thing.

Sevens represent perseverence to me. The seven of swords then represent mental peserverence. Don't give up hope on your ideas, and keep working at it.

i hav 2 diff. ppl , askin diff qns ...both of them gt the 7 of swords .....1 ask abt his career , the other ask abt the relationship ( fyi, i use an event spread since he s askin wat would happen to tat day, wich somehw i noe is relationship related, the card tells the end of the event) ....however , the 1st i sense sumthing abt him being make use of ....the latter escaping frm his prob
