Hmm saying as above the topic, different religions have their own sayings. In Dharmic religions, it is not unusual to see some gurus or priest having supernatural powers to heal and religious people able to perform miracles through meditation etc. In Abrahamic religions supernatural powers are somehow not touched and even in some it is said that humans cannot have supernatural powers.

So i would like to ask you readers if you believe that humans are able to have supernatural powers of our own. =)

my stand is the same as ever.

it is about belief. if you sincerely believe that some supernatural being/person/power has the ability to heal you. and u put your trust in that, you tend to be able to recover faster/better. and u subconsciously attribute it to the "supernatural" being/person/power.

thus we can see cases of "miracles" being performed.

this example is for most cases only. exception applies to certain individuals who might possibly have gifts in the area of healing, and, coupled with the belief of the "healee" (new word

), can create miracles of stunning calibre.

u know... actualli we are not even using 1/10 of our brain powers in our daily lives... ppl with supernatural powers mostly have more brain powers den usual ppl....

Actually, you'd find that there's a lot of different scientific opinions on how much we actually use our brains. Some say 15%, some say 10%, some say more, some say less. If you know some of the people I used to work with, you'd swear that it's probably closer to 0%

well not sure but think carefully when u are in great trouble did u feel any physical pain or unlimited stamina? No ever human can use supernatural power without the aid of the spirits. If i were to have it, I would rather disown it because I don't want to hurt the innocent when I get hurt and want revenge. Mostly, the spirits are evil. If you dun use powers wisely, they will backfire and may harm you forever.

For me, I would rather trust in God for He is good to us. :biggrin4:
