I have developed rashes on both my left arm (wrist area) and near my armpit. Yesterday it was first discovered on my arm. Today, fresh ones were discovered on my armpit area.

Was told by my friend it could be cause by bedbugs. How serious was it and how do get rid of them?

Yes, rashes are often caused by bedbugs...You have to change a new bedsheet every week and put ur mattress outside , let it sun for an hour to eliminate the bed bugs.
Often showering is a good idea~

Please consult a doctor and ask for this medicine as followed,
Loratadine tablet~ take 1 tablet a day to stop itchiness.
Also ask for DERMASONE cream, its very effective. and its not sold in singapore! only doctor can prescribe you the medicine. I have the same problem as you too! Apply the cream 3 time daily on the affected part!

Yup. In my NS days, my body always get rashes because those beds in the bunk are very dirty no matter hw you clean them. The best thing you can do is to sprinkle talcum powder on the bed to kill those bugs.

Sometimes it could be due to the dust mite especially if you are allergic to them
