My aunt was led into selling her house because the property agent said there is no problem buying a smaller house.

After selling, the agent told my aunt he could not secure the loan for the smaller house.

Now my aunt has no house and has to rent house using the money she received from the sale. After all, the money could go into OWNING a house instead of RENTING a house.

We feel conned, yet unable to do anything as the house is sold.

Wonder if the agent could be sued?
