Total SGC$: 12.00 |  Can I play Japanese DS game on DS Lite purchased in Singapore?
Hi all!
I'm new here...actually just joined! ;-)
I'm Japanese living in Singapore, and now considering if I should buy DS Lite in Japan or Singapore.
The price in Japan is definitely lower, but I've been advised that if I want to use DS browser and Wi-Fi games, I best purchase DS Lite itself in the country of residence. Otherwise, I may have problem having connection.
Now, my main concern is whether I can play Japanese DS games (purchased in Japan) on DS Lite purchased in Singapore? The main reason why I get DS Lite is because I want to let my kids play some of Japanese DS games that teach young kids Japanese writing and reading!
Have anyone here tried using Japanese DS games on DS Lite purchased in Singapore?
Did they all work well? Or, some had problems?
I will appreciate any reviews and advices from the experienced users!

NDS games are not region locked, so any game would work fine. As for the internet connection, it doesn't matter which country you buy you NDS, it would connect to the internet when you are using Nintendo WFC or Nintendo Browser just fine if the settings, like the IP address and the security settings on your router is correct.
