To be a good leader, do you think a person just need the right training in order to mould their personalities to fit as a leader? Or do you think some people are just born to be leaders?

I believe in the latter one. Not all people can be good leaders.

i believe that there are born leaders, and these people are naturally different, people who have are clear headed in times of crisis, a natural ability to lead.

yes people can be trained to be leaders however in this case their mindset are stimulated. in a sense whereby there have been role models for them to act from. they might score ace in situation where it might have been similar for them, yet zero for a totally different scenario which they have no experience in.

I think leaders are made and not born. By this I mean that even though some individuals are naturally more inclined to become leaders, based on their early life experiences and yes, even genetics, all people have the capacity to become leaders if they have the desire and make the effort to do so.

Leaders are made and not born. Though some of them are born with certain attributes that allows them to be better leaders.

Leaders are made....I feel that the characteristics of the leaders are shaped up by the environment and the things that they go through. By the learning from others and the training of self. Anyone can be a leader...But it does take ambition and vision to be one. The 'want to' is the key to leadership.

I have read and heard of people who are introvert when they started out, but after they went through some training, they changed themselves to be outgoing and fun.

Lastly, there is no such thing as born salesman, born leaders, born enterpreneurs, born doctors, born CEO....Because they never exist. I only heard of born a girl or born a boy.....

So yes, leadership can be trained.

I believe leaders can be trained if he/she is willing to be trained. Coaching is a great way to train leaders. But I must not deny that there are natural born leaders. This is because they carry the traits and characteristics of what a leader requires, exaple, charisma, boldness.
