ani1 out there noe where to get this in sg? think of getting 1 for my bf for his birthday, cuz he wan to get chin-up/pull bar for quite some times le...
went to royal sports, sports link,aibi, all out of stock, but the only have those demountable door kind.. wat i'm looking for the the wall-mounted kind.. ani kind souls out there noe where to buy?

tat means if put on the door if do pull up there the bar wont drop meh?

i saw some bars that dont need screws and i am finding them too cause my parents dont want me to damage the walls

ya, u put the bar at ur door frame. there's support at both ends.. my fren got 1, he say his dad 80-90kg oso nv drop.. so i guess is quite stable ba..

wall mounted one cost around the same price also.. in the range of 20-30 dollars.
i got mine in sports link at Jurong Point. used for almost 1 year liao. very stable.

for those demountable type, it also can damage the walls. Months after using, u can see black impact marks on it. and if your weight goes above 80, when u pull, u generate an accelerating force which could lead the chin up bar experience up to 100+kg of force pulling down. which means that the bar can fail( fail as in fall off from wall contact points)anytime due to fatigue. one sign of failing is that u can see the bar shifting lower or the bar can be rotated.

hmm.. seems like now they onli got demountable de.. when u bought it? 1 yr ago? will try to call and ask again.. a few of the sports link i go all out of stock le.. thanks aniway
