wait for the new 80 gig to land or wait for the games convention asia on sep 18-20.
GCA 2008 will cfm sell ps3 cheaper and now 80 gig is selling the same price as 40gb ( in U.S. now after they annonuced it in E3 but not yet in Singapore , just wait for it to come to Singapore).

But if you really are keen on buying the ps3 now..i guess nth can stop u
