Bus Service 242

I know this is not the Complaint Zone, but since it has everything to do with bus service, can I just say that this feeder service looping between Boon Lay Interchange and Jurong West Street 92 is terrible! Always flooded with commuters and the frequency is kinda sucky... sighx... Wrote to SBS Transit once, but all they want are information from the commuters, like when, what time, how many passengers in the queue etc.... kaox, how would I know? All I know is that everytime, the queue at 242 is always the longest in the interchange.

Someone wrote to the Chinese papers once, and it improved a bit... but slowly, it's getting back to the terrible stage again.... Been living here for 18 years liaoz, and it's still the same.... What can I do to make things right?

Take a picture of it and write to them again.

you know, that is exactly what i thought of! i even thought of taking some time... stay at the interchange for 30-60 mins, and snap as many pictures as i can, and send it to sbs transit... but hor... i scared that the passengers queuing up will not be pleased... and may even ask what i'm doing blah blah blah.... i mean... not nice to just take pictures of others right....

Singaporeans talk only, no action.

I believe none will go up to you because of taking photo.

TS write into ST forum, their Ms Tammy Tan Director of Corporate Communications for SBS Transit will reply your feedback and contact you, I always complain to sbstransit CRC dept as I have their email but always no action will be taken and recently I just complain about bus service I told them if I never receive their call to clarify about the matter I will just post on ST forum, I sick of seeing bus coming late and shortage of buses

that is what i'm intending to do sia.... tak boleh tahan liaox... even though i dislike being a kiasu and rush for things, i sometimes have no choice when i reach the train station... i will rush to the bus berth just so that i dun need to wait for the second bus to come... kaox.... the queue is terrible leh.... sometimes, it's so long until it nearly reach the train station lor!

the frequency of the mrt train is very short... once every 3-5 mins during peak hours... then every train, there are bound to have a lot of pple taking 242... the bus like come every 10 mins... kaox.... sure jialat one lor.... some more most of the time is single deck.... wah lao eh!!!

sbs transit introduced another feeder 243 servicing jurong west also, and some more got two... one green and one white.... but still, service 242 remains the hottest service! i dun see such queues in the two 243s lor... i wonder how the route-master come up with the stupid route plan.... he needs to be SACKED!

I agree that 242 sucks!! Luckily I stayed at st 91, changed to bus 179 many years ago.

sianx.... i've been taking 243 to work every morning, but when going back home, 243 is not so convenient liaox.... have to wait in line for 242.... sighx.

and some crossover buses from service179 -> service 242 or service 255 -> service 242

nice research.... and these 10-19 buses operate from wat time to wat time?

ya u should take down the arrival time for each of the buses
to check the stated time between the services

taken 242 in my whole life also..i do think that it's slow too.but still ok for me, i can afford to wait.this is the case after 7pm.but if u reach b4 7pm frequency will be ard 5mins, sometimes not more than 20 ppl board the bus.

ya lors... ever since i moved to JW Ave 5 area...
i need to ride Bus serivce 242...
And always FLOOODDDDDDDD lyk mad...
i hope they can open new bus service no. to reduce the "FLOODNESS"
Want to Take a Bus Also so difficult...CMI
