Jus wondering.... does we actually thought about our weakest/strongest part of our game e.g during league/tournament?

Let's start on myself...my weakest part will be poor in reading lane conditions when oil moved down....

Strength..guess will be my mind/mental...wont easily get discourage no matter what the score is....

lane reading comes with experience,
in order to do so u must have a consistent release in terms of lift,turn,landing point,speed whereby u are able to read from the reaction of your ball than u will be able to see from the reaction of your ball how the lane is.
thats the fastest way for u to read a lane,
another method will be see how bowlers ball react but see those consistent bowlers not those bowlers who are inconsistent

ya..its truth...lane reading comes with experience...i can say my release is consistent..but when come to oil start moved down...i dun know...e.g..still blur infact got to shift but yet i still bowling n release at the same spot...

what u mean is when i see consistent bowlers starting to shift board during league...that moment is most likely lane condition change? istz what u meant?

my weakest is i don't know how to control my speed. you know the part where you move and release the ball.

strongest would be, i always hit at least 5 pins down! lol

if u wanna bowl and release on the same spot,change balls.

if bowlers change board u wanna follow can provided that u are bowling the same line as them.
most of the time bowlers change board is cos that line is unplayable anymore
i made this suggestion cos i assume u are a right hander so the lanes will be broken down faster as compared to lefties as there are more right handers as compared to lefties.
but u must know the bowler u are following is a line bowler or area bowler.
line bowler are harder to follow cos they tend to move very minimal and very accurate,
area bowlers are easier to follow cos they tend to target their ball into an area so u can basically play any line as long as u send the ball into that break point area be it 10/10,20/10,35/10 as long as they send the ball to 10board the ball will break into the pocket( that is assuming that the break point area is at 10board)
a very good example will be the sg open now,the break point area in the 1st few days of qualifying is around 3-5 board so u will see a lot of diff styles of play
from the outer lines to the inner lines from line bowling to area bowling

Change balls...since u had mentioned...ok...maybe i am gng to get my new ball tonite...jus a quick qtn...i am a J-hook bowler..bowling with board shift for me is very minimum..at most is onli 3-5boards different..

1) Do u think i can have the same drill spec for my drill? (most ppl will advise go for a different drill layout)..meaning to say i got to bowl differently...

2) if i stick the same existing drill layout...will it be a difference in rolling as compare to my exisitng ball?

3) guess what u mean 'change ball' is to change to either dull or pearl ball for diff lane condition?

Change board...i mean since i poor in reading lane if i see a consistent bowler change shift board...can i get a hint from there that actualli the lane condition has changed?

haha...not too bad got 5pins down...but if u keen in learning to bowl..actually bowling is a mental game for sports...

l love to bowl cos air con enviroment...hehe...i dun like sweat sport leh..so i choose to bowl...

my suggestion would be same drill specs cos only than u would be able to compare how diff ball works drilled the same way with the same type of release played on the same line

definitely there will be a diff from high rg ball to low rg ball,from harder coverstock to softer coverstock,from wet lanes to dry lanes.

it can mean from a high rg ball to a low rg ball,not only mean coverstock

at the end of the day,only if u have the right foundations and such,than will diff equipment comes to a major part in bowling.
