Borat

I just saw the trailer for Borat, its releasing in the States on the 3rd of November. Borat is a character played by British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, who is more famously known as Ali G. Borat is a fictional journalist from Kazakhstan, and he goes around learning new stuff and interviewing people.

I've been watching out for this movie ever since I heard it was going to be made, Im quite a fan of Sacha. The movie has been hit with alot of protests from Kazakhstan itself, saying that it misportrays the Kazakh people. Overall, I think Borat is a funny as hell character and they should just sit back, have a beer and laugh about it.

Keep a look out for it.

I have just watched the movie, it is undoubtedly very funny, but many of the jokes are crude, and, I shall say, done in poor taste. It is no wonder that it draws so much protest from the people of Kazakhstan, because I personally do not believe they are such backward people as the movie portrays to be.

If you want a good laugh, go watch the movie, because I guarantee you that you will laugh non-stop from the start till the end of the movie.

hmm... i watched it, but dint find it very funny. coz its mainly di ji qu wei crude humour. but my friend was laughing his head off though... wont really recommend it if u are easily offended.

There are westerners who believe that former Russian territories like Kazakhstan are very much backward. "Borat" is actually more of mocking those ignorant ones, rather than making a dig at the people of Kazakhstan. Please don't misunderstand.

Having said that, I agree that some of the humour in there is pretty base.
