went cycling last sat, traveled 66.6km from Wlds>>West Coast>> Vivo City>>clementi >> Wlds...1 - 2 hour break only.

U wont feel tired at all if u got a decent bicycle. n a saddle with a suitable length( unlike mine, my seat pole is so short, i cant even stretch my leg straight, my thigh nearly gave up one me during the whole journey lol.)

my fren spent $800 on a hybrid road bike and he doesnt even look tired after the whole cycle tour -.-

With $300 budget, u still can get a decent bicycle, but what kind of bicycle u want? got close distances or u wnat to cycle around singapore? cos recently i saw a bike ( i type it as bike cos its faster than typing bicycle), the road bike cost $130 ONLY!!! even thou the brand is called momoki, but overall the bike is VERY LIGHT!, wanted to get it one but it went out of stock a few days ago -.-

How do you define a standard in which X distance is lazy? If you mean most cyclist are not hardcore or just cycle as a hobby, you're right about that.
