Hi ppl,

I'm new to this forum and i should be getting my wii this friday.

However after reading all the threads i still have no idea on:

1. whether to get local or us set. The store owner advised me to get local cuz there might be problems with the us set's power adaptor. i mean other than the voltage, is there really a difference? and i believe everything else other than the adaptor should be the same rite?

2. What is the best modchip to get in the market now? that's because different shops quoted me diff chips. They have argon, d2pro etc..

Really appreciate if i could get some advice on this by friday.

1. They are the same basically, except the local set use 220v adaptor, and US set use 110v which cant be use here.

2. Depend on the console drive, most of them work fine, if u want a mod chip, find one that allow to upgrade software.
