The Basic Adventure Training Course (BATC) is an introductory programme into the outdoors & wilderness. The programme is delivered over 6.5 weekends, Saturdays (most Saturdays after 2pm) and Sundays. Since 2001, SAC has witness the graduation of 7 batches of BATCians. Many BATCians have found their true self in adventure and they never look back since. We are proud to see many of the graduates making friends that will last and still going strong. As part of the course experiential learning for SAC, participants are considered trained in outdoor essentials and will be required to demonstrate their mastery of skills by helping to lead trips or organize outdoor activities.
Some quotes from previous batches of BATCians:
"My life is like a blank piece of paper before I join BATC….now it’s never the same again" (Chan Kailer, BATC 2005)
I never look back after BATC..I found real friends…friends that I know will never fail me….(Lin Mingzhu, BATC 2003)
