i am going bangkok this saturday.. hmm.. 1st time going.. so just wondering how much $ to bring and how big must my bag be... hmm.. shopping spree

Anyone could recommend which night market are more worth going? I'm going there on 21st May. Actually quite confused bout their malls n locations. Dun understant the map at all.. :x

Is pratunam centre the same as platinum mall?
What's the name of the wholesale market at pratunam? How to get to there from platinum mall?
