SHE left her 6-month-old baby with her new maid for just three hours.

But when she returned home, Penang resident Lu Xiu Mei, 28, found her young son with a red and swollen forehead, crying non-stop.
She took him to see the doctor - and discovered he also had a broken right leg.
Madam Lu has since made a police report, and the maid has been sent to the Indonesian embassy pending police investigations.
The incident happened last Saturday, reported China Press.
Madam Lu, who has a 3-year-old son, said she hired the 23-year-old Indonesian - her first maid - about four months ago.
That morning, at about 11am, she left the baby with the maid at home, and went to a shopping centre.
When she called home at 1pm to ask the maid what she wanted to eat for lunch, Madam Lu heard the baby crying in the background.
When she asked the maid what was wrong, the reply was the baby might be hungry.
When Madam Lu returned home at 2.30pm, she saw that her child was still crying, and his face was swollen.
She took him to the hospital, and that was when the broken leg was discovered.
When she repeatedly questioned the maid as to what had happened, Madam Lu said she was given several inconsistent versions.
The maid at first claimed that the baby had turned inside the cot and hit his head accidentally.
She then said that he was hurt in a baby stroller.
The maid later changed her tune, saying he had fallen from a bed.
Unconvinced, Madam Lu made a police report on Tuesday.
When she went to the maid agency from where she hired the maid, she was told that she would need to pay RM6,600 ($2,900) in fees to get a new one.
Madam Lu said she has never ill-treated the maid, and she hoped that the police would look into the matter.
A police spokesman said they are investigating the case.
