nv hear any new signing plans from arsenal other then the Poland goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

Besides that hopefully Henry will end his career at Arsenal. Last season was a total letdown = = although 4th placed. Hopefully v.persie,henry will recover and in good form next season. And i cant wait for Theo Walcott to improve his skills = = lol. I had to admit he has the speed , but no composure,technic and his finishing suck lol.

Arsenal plays the most attractive football in England but that might endsafter next season when Wenger leaves the club, he said he'll see out the contract but never hint anything abt signing a new deal. All e best Gunners for next season, hope they and Liverpool can push Chelsea and United abit more.

I have been an Arsenal fan since the early 80's.

The best memory I have was in the 1989-1990 season when Arsenal had to go to Anfield to win by 2 goals in order to win the title. At that time Anfield was a fortress.

Alan Smith gave us a 1-0 and time was running out. In the 2nd min of injury time, one of midfielder (can't remember his name but he was sold to Liverpool couple of seasons later)scored the title winning goal.

It was the most dramatic way to win the title with seconds remaining. The
Liverpool team ans its Anfield fans were stunned! :biggrin4:

PS: One of the midfielder that played that day was David Rodcastle, he later played in the M-League before he passed on.

I love to see arsenal games. Even tho im a manchester united fan. Their plays are awesome but sometimes a pass too many. They should do better in the season to come with or without henry..

Since its reported that Thierry Henry is leaving and is signing for Barcelona, its time for the youngsters to fill his boots.

Although he is inspirational and a fantastic player, I believed that no one is above the Club. He had given 8 years of his career with us, for that we should be grateful to him.

All along, I had a feeling that he will leave us 1 day, just like Patrick Veira, Robert Pires, Petit, Marc Overmars, etc.

I think he is upset bcos of David Dein's incident and of cos the lack of qualtity purcahse by the Board.

Lets hope that our Young Guns will stay together for the next couple of seasons. Frebregas, Van Persie, Theo Walcott, etc all have potentials to be world class players. Van Persie had improved alot since we brought him a couple of season ago.

I also hoped that Arsene Wenger will renew his contract and finish what he had started that is building a team for the future.

I also noted that most of those big names players that were sold to other teams did not do well after leaving Arsenal. Nicolas Anelka, Petit, Overmars, Veira, are just some of the recent names that had left Arsenal. Most of them did not do that well after leaving us. Would Thierry Henry be the same?

I guess Arsenal must must find someone to replace Henry then.......... tried not to touch my Oba away lolx. i dont mind Wenger taking Michael Owen for 9M :rock:
