Working with ST basically like selling yourself to them... 24 hours that you have is belongs to them and whatever you achieve is what they achieve, whatever ideas you have is their ideas.

i worked at ST Electronics (info-software systems) before.. still ok lah.. (kinda slack actually.. opps! but not much career prospects though..) but then again, i was a project coordinator there, not an engineer..

it really depends on the individual project mgrs though.. my colleague's pm was nice, increased her salary by $200 each yr (but she started off with a lower-than-average pay though..)

however, mine was quite stingy.. he wanted to extend my contract W/O increasing a single cent for me! wth?? so i decided not to stay there anymore.. felt so unappreciative.. but i gotta admit that i got to slack A LOT there.. muahahaha..!!

I heard that working at ST Singapore Technologies for 1 years based on your performance will let u
have 6 month bonus.. if not not will cut to 2 month bonus LOL~
Better go resign ar as your performance so bad lo.............

ST Kinetics is mass hiring actually. There's alot of positions open due to lots of people leaving. Why they left is up to your imagination.

Used to work in STK as engineer too... Not as good as they says/promised.. Tink my IQ dropped alot while working in there but something gd is my EQ improved tremously!!!

IQ dropped bcoz slacked too much n seldom need to use my brain to work.. EQ improved coz have to endure any unfairness or any grievence (e.g your superior bias/incompetence but shift all the blames to you)!! No matter how defensive you are, your head is always on the chopping board if the position you r having is not high!!!

See how they treat their contractors, worst!!! Their contractors will be the scapegoat for any mistakes before STK staff. They happy they will pay the contractors, they not happy, they will drag their payments even the job is DONE till the contractors on site BEG them!!!!! I can't stand it hence decided to leave... There are some good guys around in the company but its all your luck whether you will work with them or not. Anyway, its your choice to join or not to join them.. If you decided to join them, GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!
