I have been wearing contact lenses since I was 20 and THAT was many, many years ago. :speechless:

Just a couple of days ago I felt pain in my right eye so I went and see doctor at hospital - it was early in the morning mah. The doctor referred me to an eye doctor and she said there are scratches on my cornea. She further instructed me not to wear contacts until my cornea no more scratches.

I had to quickly make a pair of specs and %*#@%$^ I felt like zombie with them! Piangz...everything looks so weird, so small and the optician said it's like dat one..I haven't been wearing specs for so many donkey years mah.

Apparently, a majority of contact lens wearers will eventually develop some kind of eye infection if they wear the lenses too long (hours + years).

Ai mei kana go back to specs! :notimpressed2: I hate specs..I have no bridge on my nose so the specs keep on dropping down...sianzz...

I'm wearing specs. My mother say i 18 yrs old then allow me to wear contacts cause i'm a very lazy person. So she forbids me to put on contacts at this age.

Sometimes i wear contact lens. But i'm not wearing it while working. Cuz is not not good when wearing cons and facing monitor screens.

i m wearing specs.. i dont wear contact lenses cos my eyes always got tears and i intend to rub my eyes veri often so cannot wear

used to wear contact lens before for past 3 years, and change to specs again cuz i found its kinda more troublesome.

1st, you need to spend more money everytime u wanna buy a new pair of contact lenses or cleaner for it.

2nd, ur eyes can feel dry or tired easily if u wear whole day long hours.

3rd, can be dangerous or damage ur eyes if u unconsiously rub ur eyes with ur contact lenses still on it, then it might be tear or go to the other side of the eyes.. :freakedout:

so i decided to change to specs again, save more money and less risk lor. :rock:

Contact lenses definitely more troublesome then specs
Have to clean, remove b4 u slp, adjust the wat position.
Spec easy jus take out when u dun feel like wearing

Ya, I always like to rub my eyes some more...:speechless: No wonder all the eye doctors don't wear contacts, only specs!

actually i wear specs than i don feel like wearing it so i change to lens ..
and lens veri troublesome ..

i onli wear contact lens for 3 months ..
but i guess its less than 3 months ..
cause the 1st pair when i wanna go slp ..
i take out than nv put properly than my lens tear ..
the 2nd one is i go sch wear ..
when i open my lens casing ..
my lens already tear ..
the 3rd one is i go my fren b`dae bbq ..
than the smoke go into my eye than i keep blinking until drop out ..

than now i lazy liao ..
both oso don wan wear ..
hahas ..

wah.. u got so suay one ah.. keep tearing it.. muz be becoz of ur long nails..

For me, I juz started wearing specs.. as my degree only 125 so i seldom wear my specs one.. i got myself 2 monthly colored lens but seldom got to wear them.. only wore 1 pair.. :mellow3:

me been wearing contact lens for the past 5 years and still counting... only wear specs when at home...

no doubt contact lens is more troublesome than specs.. but me is ai sui mai mia... got a few infections before.. but i still continue after my eyes recover... =X
