Anyway it's not a fantastic phone maybe mine was first batch hence there's couple of problem.. When I got the hp for like 10 mins, it HANG, cannot on/off the hp, after figuring out how to take the batt out then manage to restart the phone.. After which, more problem..in certain places i.e my workplace which my old hp SE k800i will have reception but when I bought my SE G900 to office, there's not recep..
Another thing is it feature that it have a 5mp camera however, the quality cannot beat my old phone SE k800i (though only 3.2mp but it's a cyber-shot) SE G900 onli uses normal LED flash and when taking picture in dark places, the flash was quite strong for the eye. The camera night mode was not tt good as well, can't take good pictures - color wise is not that real.
- Points (Other minor problems
- When on the hp, it took quite long to start up.
- When u open applications like message, camera, wifi.... even u press the back button, the application won't close, you have to go to the task manager to manually close the application that you open. (As u noe, the more application that u open, the more the batt will consume)
- If u're heavy msg user, pls take note that creating new sms will take sometime as well. It's not tt instant like SE k800i. There's also a tendency that u will sned msg to the person when u have not even finish typing yr msges. Hence, best solution is not to input the sender first, type in yr msg then add the sender.
+ Points:
+ Sleek and nice design
+ Speaker quite loud, louder than SEk800i
+ TOuch screen + Keypad which allows easy access for typing sms. |

I think its quite ok ba. Didn't know about the task manager thingy you have to close it first lol.
I think its a pretty decent phone.. So far doesn't have any complaints. I think its because im a half-nokia half-sony e user? lol.
Oh, yeah. I remember a complaint. It really doesn't look like 5mp!! The camera is really not that good. There's no night mode? I can't find it lol.
Even my tutor's lg 2mp camera is better than mine lor. -_______-

Recently, I was trying to use zapcode on a newspaper advertisement. Tried K750i & W850i. Both phones having 2MP camera. One thing that I noticed was that under the same light density, the pic shown in K750i seemed to be brighter & clearer than W850i. Note that K750i is an older model, compared to W850i.
Maybe that's the reason why the camera in G900 is not as good as what we have expected. |
