is yahama counted as the best?
how about other music schools that provide ABRSM grades?
the grading is different from yahama.. i think..

i wont say the best just that as a guitar exam in SG and it is harder to pass
ABRSM exam is very ex$ but passing rate is higer

in YMS if u fail your sight reading the chance for u to pass is miserable unless your choice and set pieces are very good
in ABRSM u just need to concentrate on your 3 set pieces and u are ready to go
the % for the 3 pieces is very high

and there is also trinity music exam by robert piano in SG too

^ It probably is, being a well known school and all. But then again, I have no experience learning in other schools, so who am I to say? lol

I never took any exams while I was in Yamaha, it was all just for fun, lol. Besides, I'm sure to fail one, seeing I was that lousy. Don't even need to think about it.

For me, playing guitar should be a pleasure/hobby, so I don't wanna put pressure on myself.
