it has quite bad reputation as there are many fraud cases.

you open an account, then you have to purchase gold VIA other partners and not egold.com. If you are scammed by the other partners, then there goes your money.

Moreover, many scams are using egold as their payment.

ohh.. that's bad...
but it seems e-gold is definitely reliable from some forums i check..
thou there are many scams and frauds that use e-gold as their e-currency to "sell their schemes"

am actually looking for a reliable site to buy e-gold, but it seems like SG don't facilitate this trade.
(maybe i can pioneer it~ XD)

there are SG partners selling e-gold. i remember it works like you bank transfer to them, and they credit u the e-gold. think you have to find those HYIP forums and look for the singaporeans to ask them how to get e-gold.
