SGC$: 0.00 Bank: 0.00 Total SGC$: 0 | The alarm on the clock beside Wangzi's bed went off, rousing him rudely from a sound, dreamless sleep. Wangzi sleepily turned towards the incessant ringing and reached his hand to shut the noise off. As his hand fumbled for where he thought he'd place the alarm clock, he drowsily forced open his eyes to see what he was doing. No clock. Yet, the ringing was so shrill and loud coming from the side table next to his bed. As his hand felt only the smooth surface of the table, Wangzi gave a sigh and now wide awake, sat up on his bed looking for the clock. Strange, he thought. The sound of the ringing definitely came from his alarm clock that he usually placed beside his bed. (to be continued............) ![]() |

SGC$: 0.00 Bank: 0.00 Total SGC$: 0 | Thank you, thank you all for your xia you! Sorry, wangzi>3....I was being cheeky. No personal attacks and my story will not make you a bad guy. Anyways... I will stop...perhaps someone can continue the story? It'll be interesting. However, please change the name of the main hero in the story can? Funnysnow, there is this Writers' Course from UK that is excellent for would-be (wanabe) writers. It's a distance-learning course and costs @ $500. I am taking it and the materials teach you everything you need to know about writing. It's worth the fees because they also give you lobangs (connections) as to where you can sell your works. You can take your time submitting assignments as they give you up to 4 years to complete the course. It's really very interesting..... I am not getting any commissions from promoting this but I strongly recommend anyone who wants to improve their writing to consider this course. It's not just for would-be authors of books but the modules cover EVERYTHING you need to know about writing. Check this out if you are keen. http://www.writersbureau.com |

SGC$: 1,155.80 Bank: 0.00 Total SGC$: 1,155.80 | eh. anything can post up ah? well, just post this chapter of my story for fun. enjoy *warning chapter will be long* chapter 1 - double angst. “Daughter, go hide here before they find you!” a man pushed his little girl behind a stack of boxes. “Remember; don’t come out, no matter what!” With wide, scared eyes, she nodded Doors crashed open and ominous-looking men in black came in, holding guns. The leader of the group walked to the man and held him up by the neck. “Tell me where is it?” The man’s legs were barely touching the ground and he was almost choking. “I-I-I don’t know.” The man crashed onto the floor and found himself looking into the empty barrel of the leader’s gun. “Now tell me again, where is it?” The man kept quiet, giving a glare to the leader. The leader was getting angry. “Now now you don’t get me angry. If I happen to kill you out of anger, don’t blame me.” He guided the gun to the man’s head. Though the man looked terrified, he resolutely stared at the leader “Kill me if you dare.” “Fine, you get your wish. We don’t need you to find it anyway.” The leader’s finger moved to the trigger and pulled it. The man fell over, his eyes on a particular stack of boxes. The leader laughed, a evil one. “Let’s go.” The group left the room, the dead man with his daughter. His daughter had witnessed everything, helpless to do anything, screaming silently. She stood out especially in the preppy crowd - cargo pants and a military jacket over a tank top. A motorbike glove and a dog tag necklace were her accessories. Her hair was far from normal - her long fringe was dyed an ash blond while the rest of the jet-black hair looked as if cut recklessly but complemented her style. She looked as if she should be performing somewhere with her rock band but she was actually in University, on the first day. It was not surprising that people had been gawking at her everywhere she went. Not that she cared anyway. She came to a classroom and pushed open the door. “Is this AD450V?” she addressed the surprised lecturer. The lecturer cleared his throat. “Erm yeah. Just come in and sit over there in that empty seat.” She muttered “thanks” and ignoring her new classmates who were whispering among themselves, walked to the seat. “Ok class, let’s continue. My name is Mr Yu and I welcome you all into my class… let me tell you what you will be going through this year… The girl didn’t pay attention, her mind somewhere else. It was supposed to be empty, the rooftop during lunch-hour yet there was a sole occupant of the whole place. He lay back on the ground, his arms cushioning his head and was enjoying the warmth of the sun-shine. His lunch box was empty, lying beside him. He had found this place when he was exploring the school and was greatly pleased that he could have the whole place to himself. But it didn’t last long before he heard a door opening and footsteps. He groaned to himself. He was not alone after all. He looked up to see a blurry pair of black boots standing over him in his lying position and quickly got up to a sitting position, putting on his glasses clumsily. Immediately, the blurry vision was clear – a girl he recognised as the weird girl from his class, staring down at him with khol lined eyes. “What are you doing here? It’s supposed to be empty here.” she uttered coldly. He got up, brushing dust off his brown pants. “Well. I found this great place when I was exploring the school. So yeah.. I decided to come here during lunch..” he trailed off uncertainly. The girl crossed her arms and turned her back on him “Well you can un-find this place. It’s my place. No one can come here.” “Wh-what?” he pushed his glasses up. He walked around to face the girl and gave her a hard glare. “This place is a public place! Who says it is yours? First come first served. Ever heard of it?” He might be labelled as a geeky guy but he was not one to be pushed around. The girl rolled her khol-lined eyes. “Whatever. It’s up to you. You better not disturb me.” She walked to a far corner of the rooftop. “Who want to disturb you? I don’t want to be disturbed too!” he muttered angrily under his breath. He sat down again, taking deep breaths of air to calm himself. The sun shone its warm rays down on the two new-found enemies sitting in opposite corners of the rooftop. ![]() i'm sugar and spice and everything nice if you wanna mess with me, you better think twice |
