Better is you train hard on your physical first of all...always be alert to what your platoon sergeant says n commands...dun be blur n do things wrongly else you will had a hard time everyday till the day u "pass out"

Another thing is to plan which unit you are going to after you "pass out" if you are those fit and garang type, normally your PC will recommend u to OCS or SISPEC. If u r not you will either be post to a unit.

Dun ever tink of signing on like mi...unless you are interested in that career for the rest of your life. It may be a metal rice bowl in the past but now its not worth it unless you reach phase 2 of your contract.:biggrin4:

well i did sign on for a gd 5 years,to me that time need a steady income and what they offer was consider not bad.to me its like using ur youth in exchange for $$.It's always nice to do smth u really like and get paid and not just merely for the sake of $$.

Remember to bring extra hanger to hang clothes, go all out and enjoy before ur 2 weeks of new environment or should I say confinement, get phyiscally fit cos u'll be running, etc, exercise everyday. They say that in the army the food is very nice....Good luck cos in the army i eat chicken almost everyday.

Tekong food Sucks - but that's a place that is like those slimming centers, Stick with the program and you will Lose weight and make your body HARD.

BMT is the most fun time of your life - after that is like Boring routine stuff.

if you are PES PB - Lagi more fun, from Toad you will turn into a Swan....

do more exercise, jog more. eat more healthy food. drink more water. this are all needed when in bmt. oh ya.. do more pull up.. this impt.

well tekong food is alright esp when ya goin thru all d training... coz it contains lots of protein i heard..for muscle growth...

haa anw im postin back to tekong frm jul 1st.. haa but no worries im nt takin rec.. lol

If you put Tekong recruits into MAN HUNT.... it'll be super fun...all FIT slim and all can look like Bruce Lee.... whooo hooo
