Any Advise for new recruit Ns like me?

Hi guys im going Ns next month on 27/7. i would reali appreciate if u guys give me some advise,clues and lobang for my bmt.

Train yourself a little bit before going BMT may make your life easier. Running and swimming helps.

When you are in:
-Dun push yourself too hard, know your limit.
-Dun be too SIAO OnZ!!
-Be nice to everybody, be helpful.
-Sound out when you are not feeling well.

BMT is the most memorable time in the army.

Make friends with your sergeant.. It helps... and dont keep volunteering for stuff... DO it at the right time

-Keep a low profile...but if u are aiming for OCS..participate n take the lead..or u can do wat some did, wayang all u wan...

-Don't bother shaving ur head before u go in...unless u dun mind spending more outside...cos they haf barber on that day to shave ur head at a meagre amount. :mellow3:

-It helps if u equipped urself and read up on those malay commands beforehand...of cos they will teach, but u dun wana end up being the 'arrowed' one, being tekan for not knowing ur kiri and kanan... :biggrin4:

-U can train as hard as u wan, chances are, if u tio a xiong unit in BMT(like i did), no way can u condition ur muscles in time....most prob u'll become a zero fighter....have seen ppl who can do 7-8 pull ups, go in become zero aft awhile..lol..but not to wory, it's normal...u'll see.... =)

Dont worry, if your BMT is in Tekong. Its gonna be fine as they emphasis alot on safety.

If im not wrong, enlistment on 27 july into tekong will be PES C Modified BMT.
Correct? (Please correct me if im wrong.) If PES C, its gonna be very relax.. Got period for games too~ :biggrin4:

Just remember to be mentally prepared, enjoy your time there and know more friends!
