What is the Anlene Orchard Mile?
The Anlene Orchard Mile was the first ever women’s only running event to be held on Orchard Road in 2007. The event is inspired by successful mile events around the world including the prestigious Continental Airlines Fifth Avenue Mile in New York and the Sports Relief Mile which attracts over 10,000 runners and walkers to 15 events across England.
The event is committed to fostering the growth and recognition of women in sports in Singapore, and strives to inspire all generations of women to experience the benefits of exercise through running and/or walking.

At a very achievable distance of one mile (1.6km), women of all fitness levels will have the opportunity to participate by walking, jogging or running against the backdrop of Singapore’s internationally renowned shopping district – Orchard Road.
The event is proud to support the Osteoporosis Society (Singapore) in creating awareness amongst women about how they can delay the onset of Osteoporosis through a regular intake of calcium in conjunction with maintaining an active lifestyle.

Who should take part?

As long as you are a woman (of minimum age 12), able to walk, jog or run the distance between Dhoby Ghaut MRT station to Orchard MRT station (1.6km), we invite you to join us in this unique sporting event on Orchard Road.

Start Times:
7:45am - Elite Mile
8:00am - Women's Mile

Venue: Orchard Road
Start Point: Near Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station
End Point: Near Orchard MRT Station

Registration has started. There is 10% discount for early birds who register before 25th april.

wow! 1.6km only. but $25 for 1.6km? Ehz abit exp though...it'd be so fun to see pple running/walking/jogging along Orchard Road.

haha. actualli is 3.2km. bcos u walk to orchard den walk back to dhoby ghuat to collect the goodie bag. unless u take bus back. it is also for charity. so ok lah

no guy allowed again????
wonder if there s a gal who can walk, jog, run along, then guy can join????

seem to haf a lot of lobangs on women run nowadays....

i injured my left foot due to over exercisin n strainin...
becos i walked more than i suppose to, my rite foot got strained too...
i think i shifted my weight over liao....

walk got prob now, so cant really run at the moment....

but i will b in the Passion Run...

but can a guy walk by a gal????
