Default I am so disappointed in Citibank

I had only missed out one instalment of my loan by mistake and they called me once and send me a reminder where i would have to go and pay the instalments based on the account number.

Sound fair right? But they had the letter dated 10/11/2007, checked back the calendar, it is actually a saturday. But they made the call to me only on the 14 or 15th where i did not get the first reminder till friday on the 16th.

Then i had something to do so i had delay my payment over the weekend. Then on Monday night, i was surprised to receive another reminder again. this time it is dated 14th. it is like 2 reminders within 4 days.... Which bank would have done that?

Okay, i made the payment on the 20th which is only about like 6 working days after the first reminder.

Guess what? I had received my third reminder within 10 days in this evening. The third one dated 19/11/2007. 3 reminder letters within 10 days.....

I am so disappointed with citibank especially when the officer had confirmed that they had gotten the received my payment. Not only 3 reminders in 10 days... their letters take very long time to arrive, they are to have huge explaination on this one

thats the problem with banks cos they work in diff depts and they dun coordinate well among each diff depts

Banks have closed door policy when handling payment.

I was overseas when they freezed my transaction. I need to call the bank and finally after 14 working days, they allow the hotel to make transaction. And after I came back to Singapore, I terminate my account.

They insisted to know the reason as to why I wanted to terminate and I said, "Your service sucks".

Can used AXS. Signed their dividend card but even spend more than close to 5k, not enough dividend dollars to get a $50 dollars vouchers. What a joke! Even waive theo annual fees but screw up and charged me. Screwed up company. Only one card is good, the MRT one.

This is really bad.

I guess like what some said, the coordination is very bad among diff depts. I once work in a co. with bad coordination too. Everything was so screwed!

Well you should see when they try to ask you to sign up for their credit card. I have to tell them I had sign up for all that card before they would hang up the phone.

service standards sucks big time in citibank!!!
once they even call me up to pay the outstanding amount owe to them
even before the dateline was up.!!!

Well, they will shower you with gifts and once you had sign up, they don't really care.

Much like the telecom business in S'pore. SingTel do not reward its customers, even those stayed with them for years.

Anyway, to them, it's just business.
