hey... I just thought I'd start a new thread and hear some opinions regarding this topic. (Actually, I'm also thinking of writing something about this as a research paper...so sort of killing 2 birds with 1 stone? )

I've been doing some observations on mobile phone usage and I realized that teenagers always "share" their handphones with their friends when they hang out together..i.e. handphone always pass from friend to friend and sometimes the friend can actually hold on to the hp for quite long.. (dunno what they are actually looking at.. sometimes the owner oso dont care/dont mind)...Don't really see this kind of phenomenon happening with other groups of handphone users... Any teenagers out there who would like to share their experiences regarding this?? Such as..what do you all store in your handphones.. got anything personal? I mean.. aren't u all scared that your friends might look into your inbox and read your sms-es etc?? Or do you all only "share" with close close friends??

Also would love to hear from those who actually look into their friend's mobile phone.... Do you all ask for permission first or just take and use?? What are you all actually viewing... photos/videos/sms-es??!

As for me, I feel that my hp quite personal lei... cannot anyhow share :biggrin4:

Don't really mind actually. Not hiding any secret in the phone also. But won't really like people looking into my sms inbox, it is like invading my privacy.

my HP is my personal possession... unless u ask permission to look into the details.. else hands off...
normally my friends will just use the phone to talk.. will not pry into the other details.. i keep quite a bit of confidential stuff inside..

i dun mind them looking into it but juz ask mi first.. i got one fren n whenever we went bowling n i left my phone by e side dan if got sms he will juz take up n look at it... dan aft he finish dan he tell mi i got a new msg... kaoz~~ my sms i din get to read but he read it first... dan he will msg tat gal on saying y msg mi but not him... faint

if frens ask permission from me.. i will let him/her see.. usually my frens/colleagues only see my phone functions... so far none of my frens see my msg.. when there is msg coming in, they will automatically pass back to me...
