Greetings and salutations! This is a thread dedicated to (as the title says) the band ALI PROJECT. For those who don't know much about them, there's a wikipedia article that can be referred to at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Project .

The band, made up of Takarano Arika (lyrics/vocals) and Katakura Mikiya (writing/arrangement), has also done OPs, EDs and BGM for various anime and the Mai HiME game Unmei no Keitouju OP.

There's also some of their stuff that can be found on YouTube, such as the Boukoku Kakusei Catharsis PV and some of the OPs like Coppelia no Hitsugi (Noir) and EDs like Hizamazuite Ashi o Oname (Kaibutsu Oujo).

If there's other folks out there who like them, do post and say hi ^^

LOL Malay...? I'm not sure but I think ALI is short for "Alice", as in Alice in Wonderland. Takarano Arika has been a gothic lolita fan since her high school days. And I recommend their other stuff too, the Kaibutsu Oujo ED is excellent xD

Hahah yeah, alipro hasn't really done much stuff for mainstream audiences (excluding .hack//Roots I guess), so I kinda expected the topic to sink. You should check them out, their music is pretty good (:

Their sound is quite hard to pin down I think, even though some people say that all their songs sound the same. For example, their fast-paced songs like Ankoku Tengoku are very different when compared to slower ones like Baragoku Otome.

But I like the majority of their songs, so :3
