does age really affects your employability when u graduated from university at an relatively old age like arnd 27 or 28? is it true that usually companies will not or are reluctant to hire u when u're as old as u almost hit ur 30s after uni graduation?

mmm..at times yes...lets say a guy 27 n a guy 29 both having the same cert..the younger one will have more chance of gettin the job.reason y. they can pick up new skills easier than others. but dun forget..if the guy 29 gt more experience . he may stand a higher chance too.

Nah. dun think it matters la. Experiences and education counts much more. the 1 that is able to produce more work and also have better grades and effort would be obviously standing at a better position. unless his attitude is bad. lol

my cousin is almost 30++ now.
doing some doctorate or something.
he already got degreeS and 2 masters in two different field.
but the thing is, he got no working experience. he grad i think also nearly 35 liao. wah lau. round up is 40 le. work another 20 years retire ar?
if i company i also wont want u lei. u study how good also no use. coz u too old, about to die also le. er. hmm.

somemore must train u. waste time lor.

yes it affects. and i think the previous posters should notice that the older in this case doesnt mean more experience, because the TS stated 'after graduation', meaning very little or zero working experience. youth is an asset, u can learn more and serve a company longer.

Yesh, I think it matters. Comparing an older aged person and a younger aged person with the same cert or standard, a younger aged can serve the company for a longer period of time.

I would say it depends on the job position that they are opening to...

If it's a manager/supervisor position, they are definitely looking for someone who has some experience because they don't expect to train you from scratch.
