Hi,

I would like to ask advice from all you experienced pple.

I'm going to take ACCA and I was told that most pple start work fulltime after getting their OBU degree and then study the remaining course part time.

Is the prospects of finding a job with just a level 2 acca and OBU good?

What kind of pay range am I looking at?

My friend told me that some pple study full time all the way until they pass acca without the work experience yet. Then when they go out to work, they can indicate there that they have passed acca but not fulfilled the work experience part.

Which route is advisable?

Basically, I am 23 now, and I am looking to find an efficient way of working my way up the pay structure without making the mistakes of looking for jobs at the wrong time, thus preventing myself from stagnating unnecessarily in the pay area. I need to pay back the bank loan asap.

I also got word that big firms like KPMG do not consider level 2 acca and OBU as on the same level ground as fresh graduates from NTU/SMU. Does this mean I cannot even find a job there or that I just have to take a pay cut?
