can anyone enlighten me on this??

is application needed in order to transfer funds from a bank account to another using the atm?? or is it just straight away go transfer can le?? i'm using posb btw..

i asked this question because i applied for the iBanking message service and has yet to receive any comfirmation on application.... i need to pay for the taobao spree... =.=

I never tried transfering, but I logged in before.
You have to add a payee, then transfer I guess.

Using ATM no need to apply anything to transfer. Just slot in ur ATM card and follow on screen instructions to transfer.

Internet banking however need to apply to use the service as they have an additional security device that they will send u.

basically by going to atm to do transfer its easier if u seldom use the service cause all u need its to key in the acc no of the person u going to transfer to.

Bt if u r those like my that transfer to a specific person quite frequently i recommend using internet transfer anywhere anytime but a bit more troublesome in the initial stage as u need to add the payee(the person u going to transfer the fund to) and it require a couple of step. that include logging into the portal, the 2 factor password and add payee frm another bank or DBS / POSB den u need to key in the password given through a sms that u receive when u request to add payee. after confirmation of the payee den u can start transferring the fund.
