hi there i'm new here. to start of intro, i am Aaron toh, 15plus going 16 this yr. i have been drawing portrait drawings and doing some self-imagined drawings. but i'll only post afew that are 'ok' to see. =)

this 2 are last yr's work:
christina aguilera and jessica alba ( both terribly lack of contrast):

christina's eyes on art block ( drawn when bored in class)

and below are more this yr's work:

Seductress by Day, Assasin by Night WIP( since this is design part of forum, this is self-imagined no ref used):

Boa Kwon jpop singer korean artist:

last of all is Catty Scarlett Johansson ( work in progress ):

technique: freehand
pencils: range from 2b to 6b
paper: A4 office paper

any comments are welcomed! ^^

pardon me this yr's works are taken with 2 mega pixels phone hence the blurr look

ur my idol man.
the first one the left boobs looks funny.

the rest rocks like hell sia. u own!

! hmmn for the proportions you can use grids method, but tracing is not recommended for portraits unless grids is still too hard for proportions ( proportions is very important as you noe ha) i am not good in explaining for more info, http://www.lianneamanda20.proboards4...ead=1175039052 this site the tutorial is made from my fellow artist bud. he is a great artist

haha don't worry i don't plan to do portraits all my life. now at this stage my technical abilities are not maxed so after i get abit better, i will create more stuff out of imagination hopefully more contrast than the Seductress by Day, Assasin by Night =)). coz my main intention for future is to create realistic surreal-fantasy art ( lol sounds abit ambitious) thanks for the nice comment ^^

this one is too done last year, a drawing i did in class when i sian during lessons...... title: Don't Look At Me
note: its not blue but i draw the picture for my friend she scanned it and printed a version of the pic for me as i wanted too a copy of my work lol ( scanned until dunno y blue :speechless: )
