Default a few questions.

Hi all SGC members, i am pretty new to bowling so i got a few questions that i like to ask. regarding the weight of ball i carry, im 172cm and 67kg. how heavy a ball should i carry? dont have much serious injuries.

I am using a 13 pound radical inferno to learn how to hook, i also got a tornado. Are they good for me to learn or is it too advance for me to handle? especially the inferno.

im looking for a resonable pair of bowling shoes, becos im a left hander so choices has been pretty limited. Chevrons have nothing for me, and bukit batok CSC has a dexter one that cost around 80+. any one can recommend me where to get a resonable pair of shoes tt will fit a left hander? budget is pretty tight. heard tt those budget shoes are really bad. any comments?

your tornado issit 12lb?

im 162m tall & weight is 59kg, my bowling balls is 15lb nvs 14lb maxin.

13lb also can unless you hand power high, then try 14lb or 15lb, if you scare your hand pain or your pocket money get bigger hole... you can try buy 2nd hand ball...

a good guide for the weight of your bowling ball should be 10% of your body weight, which in your case, is close to 148lbs. so the ideal weight should be either 14 or 15lb. another way is to perhaps see your ball speed and backswing ba... if your ball speed is too fast, then perhaps your bowling ball is too light. same theory goes to your backswing. hehehe... dunno whether correct or not... pls correct me if i'm wrong.

i'm not familiar with brunswick balls, so unable to comment. but a tornado is an entry-level reactive ball, so should be fairly easy for you to handle.

bowling shoes... maybe you can consider a leyon one to start off with, or a pair of entry-level dexter.

the cheapest in the market now sud be around $55 n these are the ones that will probably last u about 3 months if u are bowling often

i admit lefty shoes are hard to find so u can either get those dexters basics wich is about 70+ onwards to about 100bucks....cos they are made for both left and right hands and can last quite well,if not try to raise up your budget higher and get a pair of shoes that will last u for a few years i got a pair of sst 6 and it can be used till now when it 1st launched and i think it outlived the price i paid for over all these years
