在电视上看到西瓜分公母，而且“母”瓜甜，可是西瓜为什么分公母呢？
分！我问过卖西瓜的人了，雌的西瓜的确比雄的甜.
橘子也分雌雄的：有突出圆点的是雌的，吃口好些；没有突出圆点的是雄的，相对吃口差些。
另外，砀山梨也分雌雄的：在梨底有花蒂状的是雄的，肉质比较粗；没有得则是雌的，肉质比较细， 吃口甜。
认识植物有性，是人类的一大进步。其实，不仅植物本身有“男女”之分，就连它们的果实也有性别。研究人员说 ，水果不仅有雌雄差异，而且，雌性水果比雄性水果好吃得多。苹果的雌雄主要表现在果蒂上。果蒂较大者为雌性 果，其味甘美爽口，汁多皮薄；果蒂小的是雄性果，既酸又涩，汁少皮厚。桔子与苹果一样，也是看蒂分雌雄。雌 者个大皮薄，核小且少；雄者发酸，核多而且皮厚个小。梨的雌雄取决于其项部的深浅，深者为雌性，个大光滑， 形美，味佳汁多，口感好。浅者为雄性，有麻点，水少干涩。荔枝壳上之“刺”若为针尖状，即是雌荔枝，汁多且 甜，核小壳薄。相反，其刺为圆形者便是雄荔枝，不仅汁水少，且淡而无味，核大壳也厚。懂得了这个道理，在挑 选水果时，你就能够买到更好的了 |
