She's quite a well-known figure in China, where I live. Her parents trained her from very young for the show-biz. She sings and models as well.

correction. it's actually her mum trained her from young..she started with small school skit or wad at very young...den dancing...her dad is a professor in china dunno which university, i forgot >_<. she said all those herself during an interview show.

I think her kind of look is very common in China bah. There are millions of young girls being coaxed or even forced by their ambitious parents to sing, act and dance the moment they know how to walk and talk.

I wonder if these young actresses truly love the art ........:handsup:

Is it important in China, where materialism is worshipped, whether those artistes love their art? I've watched so many documentaries of how those stars and starlets are being groomed - and I truly believe the tears from the SuperGirls are real, when they were being booted out at each stage.

The training and expectations placed upon them by their parents are very heavy, and I suspect quite a few of them would end up somewhat psychologically deformed. But on the one-in-a-million chance that they made it, the ROI would be significant.

Sad but true.
