Description
The 2008 National Chinese Music Competition is a platform for music excellence, which aims to develop the performing skills of young musicians in Singapore, raise musical standards and identify new music talent. It also provides opportunities for young musicians to perform before a panel of international adjudicators. The Competition is made up of a Solo and an Ensemble Section. This year is the 6th edition of the Competition and the 2006 competition attracted nearly 400 participants. The Competition will culminate in a Prize Winners’ Concert on 13 December and masterclasses by international adjudicators on 14 December.
