This is a jap drama based on the true story of a 15 yr old gal who found out that she was suffering from Spinal cerebellar atrophy.
Spinal cerebellar atrophy is a cerebellar, brain stem, spinal cord and other organs gradually shrinking nerve disease, the cause of the disease is still unknown. Patients will be unable to make good use of chopsticks, and so easy to fall down and the symptoms start, as his condition worsened gradually become unable to walk and unable to write writing, eventually progress to be able to speak and to bed. The most difficult of circumstances patients will end up in death. Even if the cerebellum, brainstem, spinal atrophy, the brain function and normal intelligence and were completely unaffected. In conclusion, in patients with a clear understanding of their surroundings but will be unable to participate in any physical activities. It is a very cruel disease.
The drama depicts her journey from the time she is aware of her illness til her death...
So far, I've watched 4 episodes on channel 56 SCV. Its quite sad to watch as the 15 yr old, in the prime of her life, finds out that her life is ending.

Very sad when she asked her mom why did the disease chose her and will she ever get married. Like very sad, someone so active yet was down with this kind of disease and eventually passed on. Heard from my bro that this is based on a true story which this girl whom passed on in 1981/1982.  Bear Bear Family Tree Club I am the Hip Hop Bear Bear :rock:
