　　男人说，每一个女人到了最后都会变成她自己的妈妈。

　　男人也好不了多少，每一个男人到了最后都会跟他爸爸一样，变成一个糟老头。
　　一个中年男人对太太说：“我希望我比你早一点死。”
　　这不是深情的剖自，而是出于恐惧。
　　男人先走一步，剩下女人的话，女人是不会寂寞的，她可以去跟孩子住，跟孙儿玩，跟一群同年纪的女人搓麻 将，当义工，或者结伴去旅行。男人不在了，女人反而自由。

　　如果女人先走一步，男人就可怜了。一个男人，不好意思去跟孩子住，或者天天打电话跟孩子诉苦，他也不擅 长带孙子。男人都是孤独的，即使寂寞，也不会主动找朋友。几个老男人走在一起，有什么事情可做？看来就只有 下棋了。喝酒和去找女人，他们已经力有不逮。

　　男人老了，不想回家，那个家已经住了几十年，天天对着同一个女人，谁想回去？但是不回家又有什么地方可 以去？他已经不年轻了，难道去打游戏机？

　　好吧，回家吧，家里那个女人早就变成她自己的妈妈，一看到他，不是噜嗦他，就是管束他，甚至奚落他。想 起这个女人当年那么仰慕他，今天却因为他老了，而倒过来成为他的主人，男人的眼泪不禁在心里流，不得不承认 自己已经是个糟老头了。
