Prometheus is a slightly oblique experimental movie equipped with few rich witty moments, though it being a bit lengthy of about two hours.
The plot of Prometheus is based on God being punished by Zeus after stealing fire from heaven. He has been chained to a rock and an eagle pecks out his liver. The script is in rhyme, accessible, rich and witty.
In much part of the movie scalding imagery is seen like a scene where a woman has been mistaken for a cow and is slaughtered and cremated in an abattoir.
The only major critic of Prometheus is its length and few says the film has been ruined by it.
