The Lockout movie is 60 years in the future. Ah, in 2079, which was the best ever time and also the worst ever time. If anyone in the movie 60 years ahead of time convicted of heinous crime against society, the punishment was to be sent to floating space prison. The plot of the movie starts with Guy Pearce as standard wisecracking joking even if getting punched on the face.
Pearce has been convicted of espionage and is blamed for the death of old Secret Service buddy. Before he starts his 30-year sentence the president's daughter is taken hostage. The mission of Pearce now is to get the daughter off supermax prison MS-One.
The architect of the movie smartly cast the good actors as bad guys. There is nothing sort of memorable action in the film, rather you will feel like playing a game. But... of course it is a fun 90-minute with some funny one-liner punched into it.
