A planet is discovered closely similar to our planet. NASA tries sending out signal to the planet with the help of a turbo charged radio beacon. Few years after the project 5 space objects come down on earth and fourteen nations are seen conducting war exercises. Soon it was discovered that the space objects are in fact fleet of ships and contains hostile intelligent life, who are superior than us in weapons and technology.

Battleship is a sci-fi movie and seems infamous as it is one of the weirdest movie adaptations so far in Hollywood, but the visuals are awesome. Sometimes the movie seems entertaining and sometimes it looks very light and funny. The overall plot is good but scenes on patriotism were unnecessary.
