THE man accused of raping his 14-year-old stepdaughter had told a psychiatrist that the girl had made advances on him when she was 11.

In 2005, the girl entered his bedroom and started massaging his legs before moving on to touch his private parts, the 37-year-old IT specialist told Dr Wei Ker Chiah.

The Indian national, who is also a Singapore Permanent Resident, had also claimed that the girl loved him and wanted him to divorce her mother and marry her instead.
