mindset 1: i paid for the ride, i got on first, so why shouldnt i sit. old people, so what? there are handles and grabpoles...
its not really wrong to say someone young is wrong for not giving up a seat...
mindset 2: give up the seat as its basic courtesy towards someone who may need it more than you, also see as a chivarlous action..
mindset 3: what if i give up my seat and he/she says its ok, no need, and refuses to take? after all singaporean 'want face'.. what if i stand up to give, the person doesnt want, and in the process someone else go sit?
