 What can you do when your parent(s) don't trust you?
need some advice here. not sure i posted it on the correct forum but anyways...
i'm nearly 20 years old already, but my parents never trusted me. they still treat me like a kid! they restrict ALL my movements. i need to report where i'm going, and who i'm going out with. i even have to give them the number(s) of my friend(s). they DEMAND to know who i'm chatting with on the net on msn, and they expect me to have no secrets from them.
i believe i'm old enough to take care of myself in many ways, and although i look really small, my maturity level can be shocking. but somehow, my parents don't trust me at all! they even restrict who i can make friends with, and who not to (and practically everybody falls into this category).
can anybody help me make my parents trust me? thanks in advance...
