Can you cook? For me, it was achieved through years of trials and errors. My poor lao kong was the guinea pig. :biggrin4:
I have developed some POWER dishes of my own.
1. Nonya Laksa - use the hand-pounded spice mixture and tamarind juice
for the soup base. Laksa noodles. Main ingredients ;
Shredded red snapper fish meat/thinly sliced cucumbers/
chopped pineapples and laksa leaves. Very healthy as no coconut milk is used
2. Special Fried Rice - loads of toppings but the most important ingredient
is the finely sliced small red onions, fried together
with the oil before adding all the rest of the
ingredients
3. Deep-fried chicken mid-joints - this recipe has been passed down to me
from my mother-in-law. Marinate and
leave in freezer for 2 days.
Anyone has any special dishes to trade? :handsup: |
