Chawanmushi Anyone love eating Chawanmushi?
I found this recipes somewhere online thus decide to post here so that Chawanmushi's lover can give a try...
4 Eggs
15oz of Chicken stock
1.5 tsp light soy sauce
6 small shrimps (peeled) or artifical crab meat
1/2 chicken breast (deboned & diced)
6 muchroom (sliced)
1 tablesthingy chopped scallions
Method
1. In a bowl, beat eggs lightly & add chicken broth & soy sauce. Skim foam from surface with a sthingy. Strain.
2. Divide chicken, shrimp & mushrooms among 6 small heat resistant cups.
3. Pour strained egg chicken stock mixture over meat & veg to cover. Garnish with scallions.
4. Steam egg cups for 25min over medium heat (boil water first). |
