Well, afterall it your own choice whether you wanna buy things for her or not. It similar to the topic on 'dutch' thread.
The only solving this problem is to talk things out. It is not a must to give gift on special events. For me, I gift and treat whenever I want, when I am in good mood. I don't really care about the event, unless it very good. I dont give a damn about those 2 month anniversary stuffs. So little, still wanna celebrate. LOL!
