In my year they were still accepting SAT verbal scores of >600 or 700 in place of GP if yr GP results < B3... I took the verbal SAT as a safety net hahaha. It's damn easy to get the required grade one - easier than GP anyway, which is damn touch and go.
if you can make it for SATs and they still accept, try that?
And anyway right, if you're not looking at a professional degree, I don't think you shd worry too much abt yr first degree, it's your masters that counts these days. Every freaking person on the street has a degree, the question is whether you have a good masters.
One more word of advice - pick something you're interested in / know u will excel in.
if a course has good job prospects but you really don't like it and end up not doing well right, those job prospects still won't be open to you :p
