if i can recall, there used to be spinner balls back in my time like close to a decade ago... hahaha... they were saying that these balls were made specially for spinners (designed by taiwanese i think). i think such balls are no longer in the market liaox.
so yeah... actually spinners don't really need to look at hook potential or stuff like dat, since the core is modified like what coach said, so it really doesn't make any difference.
having said that, one driller once told me that usually for spinners, they will look for balls with the pin right underneath the cg (cg at north and pin at south) since their ball moves like a helicopter... i dunno how true that is, but my latest spinner ball is like dat one. hehehehe...
